We've been pretty heavy with Video content as of late so to stem the tide as it were, I am dedicating my next few posts towards featuring more artists in tangible & print media. To start off the posts we are starting with something from the minds at Disney.
Over the past two years, the minds behind Disney's animated films have been making a quiet splash at Comic-Con International in San Diego with it's limited edition comics releases. In 2009, the artists released "Who Is Rocket Johnson?" – an anthology of original stories that set out simply to answer the titular question.
This year, the group is back with "What Is Torch Tiger?" a $20 volume featuring stories of jungle discoveries, anthropomorphic airplanes and bickering spouses amongst other visually-appealing plays on the main question. for more information click here.Labels: comics, Disney, What is Torch Tiger, Who is Rocket Johnson |
