and the lifestyle its members pursue. ourGenshiken is a blog written by four otaku who want to share their passion and report on all the various visual media they love.

Frank Espinosa, creator of Rocketo, has been publishing studies of his new newbook, The New World on his blog. Rocketo has to be one of my favorite comics to come out within the last few years. I don't quite remember how I discovered the work of Massimo Carnevale but when I did, I was immediately taken aback by his work. His graphic use of colour & light are reminiscent to me of a modern day N.C. Wyeth.

Over the past two years, the minds behind Disney's animated films have been making a quiet splash at Comic-Con International in San Diego with it's limited edition comics releases. In 2009, the artists released "Who Is Rocket Johnson?" – an anthology of original stories that set out simply to answer the titular question.
This year, the group is back with "What Is Torch Tiger?" a $20 volume featuring stories of jungle discoveries, anthropomorphic airplanes and bickering spouses amongst other visually-appealing plays on the main question. for more information click here.
